    Framerates

    Whats the best frame rate for good quality playback without going into excess ?

    Usually not. But here again, that is all dependent upon the end users connection speed, and system performance.

    I would go for 21 or 31 ... as this will animate the flash movie at approx the same speed on both pc and mac machines.. for more information regarding this have a look at:

    Professional animators use 30-31. Frames rates can be different in different browsers.
    IE for example plays the flash movies with 3-5 frames faster then FireFox.

    Try googling "browser frame rates" for more information. Good luck.
