[F8] number counter that animates up

Hi - Im trying to create a score counter thats numbers animate up (instead of just swapping instantly)

I started to give it a try (file attached) but very quickly got myself into a muddle

Is it something that can be done easily (and Im just missing something) or is there a bit more needed to get it working?

many thanks for any help you can give

    Nick

Hi, I'm getting 'unexpected file format' from taking a look and I'm using Flash 8 too. I can't say I can help much but I'll take a look. I'm guessing it's down to dynamic text properties but I could be wrong.

Sorry, I'm a bit over my head here. You probably already added the last frame (with stop) to the mcAnim2 to avoid the jerkiness despite the numbers appearing. I know there must be some way of incrementing & reducing the lower number which is sharing the same properties right now but from my attempts I couldn't get anywhere just yet. I'll have another shot at it when I get some time free tomorrow though.

Until then I think you're best off waiting for better responses
