need help in loading daily txt content!

Hi I havent posted anything for quite some time now, and need help on something probably too simple. I need to display daily text on a movie. like daily quotes or other content like daily thoughts. the files are on a txt file and I found this sample that I Like

but I can't get it to work I don't know much action script but kinda mess around till I get it. I would like to create a simple page with two dynamic boxes, one that displays the date and another one that displays the content for that day.

also I have flash 8 and would like this script to run on a pocket pc if possible.

can anyone help me and guide me thru...
Ive strugled for days now and I'm going out of my mind...
please put me out of my misery.

In that example you have to name the variable corectly. for example right now all variables are from

&April_20=

till

&May_2

but you windows clock is set to august. either change your window click to arpil20 or change the variables in the text fiels to
&August_1=

&August_2=

.... and so on. This example is for eachday of the month for whole year

I got those variables changed but still have problems making it work. I think I choped up the action script or I dont know what I did wrong.
Can you guys look at my fla file and txt file and tell me what im doing wrong?
