    Preventing mouse obscuring

    Hi everyone,

    I'm trying to create a box that would follow the mouse, displaying information, as long as the mouse is over another object. All is well except that if the user moves the move so fast, the mouse goes over the CommentBox, which prevents the mouse from actually being over the real object, which then sends in CommentBox's Mouse.ROLL_OUT

    How can I make it so the CommentBox is an object displayed and quite opaque without it interfering with hitTests under it?

    Thanks in advance

    CommentBox.mouseEnabled = false;

    You have to clear all unecessary mouseEnabled, usually not only mouseEnabled=false, mouseChildren=false will be helpful as well.

    on another note you could also have the comment box a bit farther away from the mouse and also raise the FPS the movie runs at to reduce (almost eliminate) the problem.

    I don't think it was an issue when I made my Adobe AIR program in Flash:
