******LOSING IT*****flv WON'T play on website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, please someone help me.......I am totally losing it.

I imported my flv into flash, I added a skin, I made the content path meetings.flv, I publish it. It works. I put the html, the swf and the flv, along with the skin.swf onto my site and it will not play. It JUST WON'T PLAY. I don't understand why it won't play. I have been trying to get this to work for 12 straight hours now. I have been on forums, I can not find an answer. I find posts but no answers. I followed the imstructiosn exactly from Adobes website and it just won't work.

PLEASE, can anyone help me? PLEASE.

I get this error when I try and play it on my server:

    test.htmlTEXT????¶Ââ˜}Ââ˜}mBIN‚lM

it could be the server where you are hosting it, have a look at

    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...9439&sliceId=1

for the possible cause and solution..

    hope that helps

P.S does it work fine locally offline?

Do you know if the server is configured correctly? by this I mean: does it know what to do with a .FLV file? you'll need to ask the system admin if they have the MIME type configured for .FLV, .F4V, .MP4 and .MOV files.

finally, check that the security publish settings for your .swf are set to network rather than local file system.
