Actually the Motor Physics Engine is (as far as I understand) based on Erin Catto's Box2D C++ physics engine.
There is another AS3 port of this engine here (just released):

Just to be clear - I had nothing to do with it (Box2D)- just posting the link. I was going to port it myself by skatehead beat me to it. Shame - I was looking forward to converting all that C++ to Actionscript....

That's brilliant, really really impressive.
I'd love to see someone do a rigid physics vehicle demo, like cars smashing into each-other and bits flying off.
