    Transaprent background in .swf file

    Hi,
I created a movie with only a menu element.
This was exported as a Flash movie with Window=transparent and quality=best.

In the HTML object definition following line is present:

    <PARAM NAME="wmode" VALUE="transparent">

    In the embed tag: WMODE="transparent"

Yet in the browser (both Firefox and IE7) the background is still visible and not transparent.

Need some help to solve this problem.

    Thanks,
    Gerard

it should work... try this tutorial.. http://animation.about.com/od/flasha...ashwmode_4.htm

    or

Latest version 3dfa allows you to select transparent mode and then you only need to copy the "html code" to inside proper div element..

    Transparent background

    Thanks,
    problem solved.
I'm using a Javascript to avoid the ActiveX activation message and must have made a typo when passing the parameters to the script.
Just retyped the function call and now it is working.

    Cheers,
    Gerard
