White background in Video playback HELP

I am streaming video using the Media Playback component. It looks like crap. That white background is destroying my page. I have dark backgrounds and images. It looks like a baby albinos ass in a sea of oreos. What the hell?
How the hell do you get rid of this thing? Why the hell would they stick us with one obtrusive white skin? How do I change the theme and get rid of the background? Thanks, Scott
