Music: The Thread
So while at work these days I have been whoring last.fm and found some new names I need to check out more of. By putting in Shpongle yesterday I found another band Raja Ram is part of called "1200 Micrograms" which is a decent upbeat trancy type of group. Nice background music for working.
What are you all putting on your playlist these days? I am looking for more bands similar to Shpongle if anyone has any suggestions. They are so nice and mellow to have playing while just relaxing.

Except from that, the screen on my mp3-player has stopped working, so now it's become my "Coldplay - X&Y"-player instead (the album I was listening to when it stopped working)

Lately ive been stock with cut chemist - audience is listening
But for work maybe pulp fusion, any album, blaxploitation at it best...
And back to basics, De la Soul - de la soul is dead .. cant get enough, so freakin´ good.
And of course allways soul, right now Isley bros and Curtis Mayfield but is a looong list from soul..

iLiKETRAiNS. Terrible name, amazing band. Epic post-rock with songs influenced by historic events.
I saw Seasick Steve in Leeds recently. He's also worth checking out if you like delta blues with a hobo-like twist.

if you've not already heard any of his stuff, you might like jean michel jarre.

Shpongle, great name.
You could try some Tangerine Dream. Only problem is that they're one of those band with a huge discography spanning several decades and genres, so they can be a bit hit and miss.
