    Understanding Roll-Overs &Outs

    Hello there, I'm new to the forum and sadly I've been searching the Internet for a tutorial or a solution to my problem, the thing is, I don't know exactly what to search for because of the way I'm designing this current project.

    Here is the gist of things:
    I have a flash file that allows users to mouse over specific areas in order for a new menu to appear, this same menu is then supposed to dissappear when the said area is left:
    Code:
    function clcOver(e:MouseEvent) {
    	var myTween12:Tween = new Tween(glass_slider,"y",Elastic.easeOut,-53,-33,3,true);
    	var myTween12_1:Tween = new Tween(sublinks_clc,"alpha",Regular.easeOut,0,1,1,true);
    	var myTween12_2:Tween = new Tween(hiddenSelector,"y",Regular.easeOut,73,93,3,true);
    }
    function clcOut(e:MouseEvent) {
    	var myTween13:Tween = new Tween(glass_slider,"y",Regular.easeOut,-33,-53,3,true);
    	var myTween13_2:Tween = new Tween(hiddenSelector,"y",Regular.easeOut,93,73,3,true);
    	var myTween13_1:Tween = new Tween(sublinks_clc,"alpha",Regular.easeOut,1,0,1,true);
    	hiddenSelector.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER,hiddenOver);
    	hiddenSelector.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT,hiddenOut);
    	function hiddenOver(e:MouseEvent) {
    		myTween13.stop();
    		myTween13_1.stop();
    		myTween13_2.stop();
    	}
    	function hiddenOut(e:MouseEvent) {
    		myTween13.resume();
    		myTween13_1.resume();
    		myTween13_2.start();
    	}
    }
    clcOver = mouseover area
    clcOut = actions to take when area is left
    glass_slider = new menu
    sublinks = new links
    hiddenSelector = allows menu to remain when moused over

    Is there a way I can make the glass_slider and sublinks_clc to stay down when needed(to choose a sublink) and go away when not needed(mouseOut) without changing the layer order of these [I have tried to make hiddenSelector below sublinks_clc but then flash reads this as hiddenSeletor has been mouseOut and proceed to make the new menu dissappear again).

    This is good, and it would help me if I was using flash definied sprites but I'm not that advanced and proficient in Flash yet, to help you understand what I'm working on, I'll give you the link.
