    Use <li> to create a list. I imagine your text box is already set to allow html? if so, li should work just like your making a list in html.

    Well... I couldn't read your fla file. But, There are some things you need to do to make html text work other than setting the text box to html. If you look for:

    Using HTML-formatted text

    In the help files you'll see a list of required things you must do.
    1)Set the text formatting to html
    2)The textbox has to be multiline to allow for lists
    3)You use the instance name of the textbox plus .htmlText instead of text ie
    myText.htmlText = "<ul><li>this is a bullet</li><li>Here is another one</li></ul>";

    Since you're reading in xml just make sure you use the instance name and htmlText instead of just text. If you still can't get it I'll make an example for you.

    I opened your fla and I'm not sure why the bullets are black. Everything looks fine. But, you have a lot of code spread around and I can't find the xml object anywhere. Where are you reading in the xml at? I haven't used CDATA so I don't know if that has to do with anything.

    the CDATA tag in xml allows you to use HTML coding within xml
