Don't Play Turned Off Layers...

The other day when I was using CS3 I swear when I turned off a layer it didn't play, when I ran the movie now even with layers turned off they all play, was I dreaming?

Well, I can’t vouch if you were dreaming or not, but if you change a normal layer into a guide layer, it will not render. If you change it back to a normal layer, it will then render. Just hiding a layer will not prevent it from rendering.
