    Is there any future in flash?

    This topic isn't realy for help. I'm learning flash(as more) and one of my friends said to me that there is no future in flash and as. Anyway i realy like it, and it is rely easy to understand.

    So what do you think?

    Well, he is a web builder and he knows php, xml, html ajax and i don't know what else. But when i said to him:
    HEy i'm learning AS.
    He said:
    Don't waist time on that. Flash will die until 2010. Try to learn ajax, there is the future.

    I'm not so woried 'cos every knowlage is good knowlage, but i'm just interested in your opinion.

    Looks like flash is better. I never tried ajax, but if you think of that that flash has a beautiful software, and it runs so great, with great posibilities, and has intergraded art work(not just a programming language) it looks like flash is realy better.

    Heh, doing this poll on a Flash forum won't get you very accurate results

    Besides, Flash can do many things that Ajax can't, and it's even better now with AS3/Flash 9.
