    Image quality help please

After playing around with an image for a client (for print on a card), it seems as though i've lost the quality.
The rest of the graphics are perfect.

Once i save as a pdf from photoshop, the graphic attached, shows pixelated and a little blurry.

Any help fixing it up and/or a tutorial would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What settings are you doing the pdf at, if its a low setting the image will look poor, if the pdf settings are really uncompressed then the image will look better, also pdfs dont display vector artwork very well (depends on what version you are using) is that image vector or bitmap?

    black_phoenix thanks for your reply

it's a bitmap and when i save from photoshop to pdf format i'm saving with jpg quality and it's set at maximum.

when i use acrobat 8 professional to create a pdf and import the image, it actually looks worse

is there any way to optimize the image, at least just the white area, to make it smoother and less blurry once it's shown in a pdf?

    Thanks again!

Hi I have just tried an image making a pdf from Photoshop, and set at 12 (max) with image interpolation ticked, and it looks fine. is the image that you are pdfing compressed already, if so try getting the image with no compression and pdf that one (or pm me a link to the image and I'll have a look at it for you)
