The idea of using FK's server was done to make posts better after a couple of years. If you look back on an old post, there are several dead links.
Services like imagshack.us and other do a good job of hosting images and not changing URLs so they wont create this problem (hopefully)

Has the image been vetted yet? Then someone else can post.

so is anyone working on an image here? If not, I will go.
I will have to submit to FK for hosting though. So it will take a day.

What is a(t)? What are you trying to integrate?

Well Jimmy, I'm glad you asked. The equation is simply the criterion for determining whether an event horizon for the universe exists. That is the boundary past which events can't ever be observed no matter how long the observer waits for light from those regions to arrive. It is also known as, "I thought it looked cool so I through it in."
Now you run along home, it's getting late.

love: composition, concept
like: transition
impartial: colour banding and lack of texture on the right
dislike: type treatment

Thanks for the thoughts. I agree on the texture point, I just wasn't sure where to take it. I was trying to leave it open to move past the "deep space" feel.
What would you do different on the text? (Or would you use it at all?)

Definitely keep the text- the conversational nature of battles (ideas and themes) is something that good use of type can really make pop.
Looking at it now I would have just used a different background on the right and a big scroll through all your fonts, something that basically suited the combination or transition from space imagery to general relativity. Once you've got the combo right a few random details can sometimes just be good to lead the eye across the piece.
I love it on it's own, it's more just a transition thing... thats the beauty of roll canvas, seeing something followed through a few volleys in a really coherent way, even if some only stand to serve another.
Would love some crit as well
