Very nice! The page turn effect threw me for a moment, I thought it was gonna be animated
Some really cool new stuff in there aswell (to me anyway).
But yea, I think on certain resolution monitors the subtexts are literally impossible to read.

It's not often that you come across someone that is that talented in that many different areas.

    Great portfolio!

    2 minor issues:

Might be clear by now, but yeah, the text is unreadable.

It might not be obvious to everyone that you can actually turn the page (if they would only try to click the images on the left)

If the portfolio's going to be printed, surely it doesn't matter how hard it is to read the text on-screen?

The page turn effect is really very good.
And, I think the quality of your work speaks for itself -- if this is your end of course protfolio I'm sure you'll get snapped up...
    Well done!

    lovely work...
I really like your 3d stuff it's awesome!

one thing I noticed is that you go from page 7 to page 10!
then the next page flips you to 8 then 9...

    * wish I had a portfolio like that!

    Looks like you can draw.

one thing I noticed is that you go from page 7 to page 10! then the next page flips you to 8 then 9...
    but, can't count

Really though, very nice looking stuff.
As others noted, page turning is also perfect.

    Looks amazing!
Only one suggestion, mate: in the beginning I was frustrated with what I need to do to go on .
When finally I figured it, I felt stupid. I thought may be I was the only one who stuck in the beginning, but after reading all comments I found that I was not.
May be you need to put some badge in the bottom right corner telling people that they need to open it, like a real book?

well the things you guys mentioned are kind of obvious because the thread title already said that it is my print portfolio and it wasn´t intended to be shown online.
That´s also the reason why not everything is readable because the big screen size I choose still doesn´t fit the fine fonts I used for the print.

I wrote a notice on how to use it in the original thread- so I thought that most people would read it. Anyway it was just a quick show but nice that you guys liked it.

The page turn effect is something I wrote in the past and recycled it quickly for showing the print sheets to get the illusion of having the actual book. It uses skewed face slices in a array that simulates the page bending- additionally shadows are simulated on the other pages. The glim is a gradient skaled and masked over the slices.

That's really great dude. I'm just amazed at the breadth of different styles, mediums and methods you've got under your belt. Do you plan on specialising at any point, and what do you consider you strongest discipline?

The only thing it needs to make it perfect is some finished games...

that´s the point I always thought it´s a waste specialising on just one area and because I thought so in the past I am now not just in 1 area good.
But If I´d have to take one - perhaps 3d?- but then again I dont know because I was always good at drawing- and flash too
Nah no specific direction for my whole life recently however more 3d

well in the end I wrote more experimental stuff in flash as many of those who finish 1 game after another. I finished many projects but most of them are rather unattractive compared to the big ones I haven´t finished so far. And often when I work for projects I can dig into the stuff I wrote in the past and improve them,- so overal I´d say not an overkill that issue.
Well one time for sure I´ll complete a flash game- though not sure when that will be

It'll be interesting to hear about what kind of companies you get a job with after you complete your masters. Personally I liked your 3d stuff the most, and I'd say you have the greatest potential for finding work in that field.
