Godzilla like monster movies are about the monster with people running and screaming

Cloverfield is about the people running and scream, when a monster attacks.

Just got back from the midnight showing. One of the most unique and well done movies I have seen in a while. Plus the girl was hot.

Loved it. Unique outlook on it all, several great cinematographic devices used to make sure the handy cam look didn't get stale, such as focusing on news channels with different perspectives, etc.

Story = 3/10
Execution = 10/10

That's pretty much how I'd describe it. Hell, you could read the entire story before watching the movie, but you still wont have read any "spoilers" as such, because its really all about the execution.

i loved it, it ended exactly how this kinda movie should end.

Also i think the story fit perfectly for what they were trying to do.

Yeah, I think the lack of detail is kind of the point for the story. I mean its about a few people and their personal life, and then everything getting shot to hell. Fitting, IMO.

Just got back. I really liked it. I think it may be one of those movies I like more and more the further I get from it. Well done on the monster movie bullet list.

Once more people have seen it I may start speculating on some background, not that the flick needs it.

Like the last part of the movie i guess you can see something falling from the sky at conie island.

Also there is a scambled message sayinging something like "its still alive"
