ok... I'm turning to you guys for help.

I need to locate a decent, tool-less case without having to fork out a friggin' arm and leg for one.

I have an older Antec case - and as far as it goes, I just want something for the new computer I just built... something not flashy, no side windows, nothing that's... well, screams out "I pimped my computer because I'm a soulless bastard with no life nor woman"... I already live that tortuous reality. No need to have it on my damn computer too.

So... any ideas? Links will be greatly appreciated.

    That's my style!

    Ok, seriously...

I'm just looking for something that's not... well, over-the-top. Really liked the Lian-Li Blue Ring (Lian-Li PC-B25B), but at 200.00+, nothing doing.

The Antec Sonata II case was "decent", but it's still over 100+, and the Sonata III is already out... and it's fetching over 120+. Bleh... my last case(s) have lasted me three three iterations, 6 years, 5 PSU's.

So yeah... no PSU needed. Just something boring and regular. Nothing insane. Nothing that's all super LED'd the **** up either. And nothing really ugly - damn cases have gotten ugly as sin lately. Mesh, ugly angles, doors that are odd... wtf.

No offense, but that 'blue ring' looks pretty pimp to me. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about the Lian Li cases..I've had this one for a few years.

One of the reasons I didn't consider the Blue Ring case was because of the fake wood grain look it had going on (you can really see it in this picture). To me, it gives the case a cheap recycled plastic look. At least it doesn't have roller skates.

I'm liking the Ultra case the more I look at it. Right now, it's comes with a 750W power supply which uses a really cool cable system. It has a window, but it's classy. The biggest drawback is the 5 1/4'' drive bay door. I thought they were nice at first, but they're really just a pain.

Well... it's true. I already live a tortuous reality. Insomniac supermod with a domokun love like no other.

    Yeah. That's the life.

I wanted the computer to not have the stuff already I might add later. But for a while, let me have that bit o' time where I get used to it.

190 bucks for a friggin' case though. That's not gonna happen man.

Here's the case I used on my last build:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119068

    $19.99 after rebate (plus shipping).

Well built, roomy, good airflow, but relatively heavy and bulky. I like it though. Simple, cheap, and does the job.
