I agree 100%. That is usually one of the joys of watching the Super Bowl where this year the only good parts were the actual game. Afterwards my wife said that we should have DVR'd it and fast forwarded through the commercials.

I actually really liked the Coke one with the Thanksgiving Day parade balloons, I thought it was the best of the bunch.

Nothing, ain't nothing, is ever going to top Terry Tate.

The Clydesdale and Dalmation ad was brilliant, but Budweiser never really disappoints in the super bowl. I also liked the Tide one where the stain on the guys shirt was disrupting his interview. And yes, the Thanksgiving day balloons was great too. I personally thought the big losers were Dell (Apple mock/copy/whatever) and Under Armour (just f-ing weird, man)

Not to mention trailers aint what they used to be. Remember the ID4 trailer debuting as a super bowl ad where the white house got squid beamed? Haven't wanted to see a movie that bad in a long time.

Agreed. Worst collection of commercials I can remember.

The Will Farrell one was funny for moments though.

If you don't like the ad's simple solution is to move to the UK, stay up until 3am and watch it on the BBC (no ad's).

I could have just DVR'd it and fast forwarded the ads. That would save the expense of moving...plus I expected the ads to be good.
