    3D Hit Test

    Hi

I have 2 3D cubes moving freely within a 3D environment - no problem .... BUT I can't find an easy solution to performing a hit test to determine whether they have collided with each other. The cubes are constructed from points and a simple mc hit test won't do it. Any ideas on even the general form that an algebraic solution might take - I'm thinking check points of cube_1 to see if it is sitting within the volume bounded by cube_2 ... ??

    Don't know ....

    Any help appreciated ..

    Ooops .... AS2 solution needed / Flash 8....... [forgot to say dat ... ;-)]
