Update XML

What do you use to update your xml from a MySql database? Is there a tool out there or process/tutorial for automating this? I am using Linux with MySql 4.x.

so youre recieving xml from the database modifying it in the movie and sending it back, right?

I want to figure out a way to automate my xml file so that it gets any updates to the mysql database in real time, does that make sense?

sort of!? - youre talking about some pretty wide spanning concepts here - can you post a small example of your xml?? are your updates generated in the movie by user interaction?? is linux serving the data or will the client be running linux or both?? is linux running apache?? do you have a php middle layer??
