Punk O Matic /headdesk

So, most of you guys have seen punk o matic, and I am trying to recreate something like that but i have no idea where to start.

Id say im intermediate AS2.0 coder, above novice C# and VB net coder.

I dont know where to start.. im tryin to get the lines he has. I can declare sound vars and make em wait to play.. but i cannot, for the life of me, think of how to let the user put em in place.

the only part im trying to recreate is the main 3 lines. I can do the play and the sound arrays etc... just not the slew of duplicated movies clips he has. If someone could point me to a more basic SWF with the same concepts that would be great. Ill just decompile and analyze.
