    [F8] Saving a SWF from a website?

    Hi:

Is it possible to save a SWF from a website?

We are taking over a website, and do not have FTP access or the root files.

We just have the URL to their site. They have a SWF on there that they want to use, but I do not know of a way to take it off a website.

Can this be done? I was always under the impression that this could not be done.

    Thanks!

If you know the url, you can just put it in the URL bar, and then go file > save page as. or if you're using firefox you can right click, view page info > media, and scroll down till you find it, and press save as. Or you could have a program do it, such as ******* swf catcher

    hope that helps

[edit] for some reason it won't let me type "s o t h i n k" without the spaces... i probably need to check over the rules to see why it's censored (will do that now) but if you want that program change the asterisks to what's above in the quotes.
