I've played amongst friends that came over, but not online. I would be pwnd so hard. I may consider taking on gshock in the Battle arena though.

i won 4 races in a row last night, each one with 8 or more racers.. then i came in 12th and lost 256 points

ill be on tonight, maybe we can get a FK battle going.

A 256 point loss!? I'm saddened that it's even possible to lose that much.

I started a little trick and it seems to be effective.
I can lead the first two laps in pretty much any 12 man race. But that ensured I'd get screwed on the third. So right as I pass the finish line to start the third lap I hit the brakes and drop back to 4th or 5th on purpose. Then I just try and win normally. It normally takes 3/4 of the track to close in and 3 races in a row got either a golden muchroom or a bullet bill putting me in first.

12 racers are more fun than eight but the delicate mario kart fairness balance has been thrown off by the 4 extra karts on track. If you get knocked back to say 10th from 1st, the nine people ahead of you in the pack will almost assuredly snag all the weapons leaving you to drive past them during their respawn timer. This effectively screws you out of what originally balanced the blue shell out in an eight man. The game is no longer fair and I won't be playing it in a couple of months.

P.S.
Please explain the timing on the POW shake in detail. I've got it to work a few times but only because I spasmed as you described.

so i played a bunch of battles against the world last night,

still not feeling it. I dont like the time limit, I dont like how after your balloons are popped you respawn. i dont like having to compete against another team... as well as your own, to try and get the top spot.

your team WON!, however, you only popped 2 balloons because the guys in front of you completely owned the other team.. and as a result of that one red player that got the most popped balloons you lose points.

coin runners is fun, but after so much time coins are gone and your just driving in circles looking for them.. it should be more like a race, start to finish get as many coins as you can and your opponent loses coins for every x amount of time hes behind.

Yeah I was just trying out the new bike you get for beating 12 staff ghosts and noticed 1:20 was easy. Only took a few more tries to get 1:16

i cut it down about a second from my previous time just before i fell asleep last night.

I tried driving the karts again for the first time since starting the 100cc class.. wow, its like night and day with the handling. is it even possible to set some of those record times with a kart?
