[RESOLVED] Making Better/Sharper Text?

This is something that's been bugging me a while. I put text on my document, and when I preview it, the letters "o", "a", "d", etc. get filled in the areas with the holes on the letters. Especially when I make the fonts small. Is there a way to make my texts sharper? When I preview my preloader, it's blurry, and the letters I mentioned are filled.

if not...try import the letters from ilustrator or freehand

Hello,

The reason your text gets blurry is because flash antialiaese everything including text.Antialias is a smooth blur that in needed in a lot of cases but it can be a real pain in the S when in comes to text.The only way you can sharpen your text is if you use _sans,_serif,__typewriter but then you can not animate or mask it.You other option is to load the text into a text field and define a system font like verdana.
