Preloader bar works perfectly, but not if swf is externally loaded

yes that is correct.

The index.fla (my main menu) file loads the jor_hoemflashkit_08.fla, and jor_hoemflashkit_08.fla loads in the jor_flashkitexample_08.fla file.

Ideally i would like all three to have the same preloader.......

If jor_homeflashkit_08 were modified to have the correct preloader i reckon i could sort out the index myself.

I could simply use the jor_homeflashkit_08 file to build a new index page from scratch....

Guys...ive just realised that all i had to do was delete

loader.gotoAndStop(_root.frame);

off the last line of the coding in my original flashkitexample.fla

it seems to work fine
