Browsers delay in reading Flash website updates?

hello i have been wondering why this occurs...

when i change something on my website..an flv a photo or anything. The browsers on some computers still preview the previous version. It takes sometime to get the updated one... Any one knows how can i change this so that people can view my website as it is even though i update often?

Thanks so much for your time...

yeah it's a hassle hey... google no-cache, there's an html tag you can include on the page so the browser won't use the cached version of your swf. This isn't a great practice for a site in use, but great for previewing or showing a client. You can probably also attach a random string to the end of the address like

Hello thanks for your quick reply....So there is not a chance to fix this problem unless i use the random string solution?

I wonder if this is just with flash...does this also happen with full html pages?

    Thanks

yeah sometimes it does, it's really more of a server thing. Some servers seems to do it more than others (free shaw webspaces are horrible for this)
