Yeah, the tune is melodic, no random wobbly bass line stuff.

Yeah I guess he has a full cd he has made since all that stuff. I really want to get my hands on it.
All those on his myspace are his first tries ever at that type of music. Pretty good if you ask me for a first try...

I finally got around to listening to Kanye West new album. It is a toss up. Half of it is dribble and the other half is amazing.
The new South Park with him is great!

Anyone else here like classic rock?
Currently listening to: Nothin' But a Good Time (Poison)
To be honest, Poison has a couple good songs, but the rest are re-makes.

I'm going to see Bonnie Prince Billy in london on monday night so I've been listening to his new album alot. Also a band called the Heartless Bastards. If you like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs you should give them a listen.
If you want some heartbreaking blues try Mississippi John Hurts 'Today!' album, great songs, great guitar playing, great voice, great recording. One of my new favourite blues albums.

Been listening to a lot of Suede recently. Been years since I dusted their first album off, still awesome.

Listened to the new Dylan album today. Wasn't blown away but it's a solid album with what could be some great songs.
It'll need a few listens though.
I also picked up a limited Tom Waits 7" in London that has a recording from the show i was at last year. Been giving that a few spins.

You'd be proud Robb I actually dusted off my player and listened to some vinyls yesterday as I cleaned my room. Yeah I listened to all of the original Star Wars soundtrack. Amazing compositions.

No offense to you or Mr. Dylan, but I am so turned off by him at this point because of Rolling Stone magazine. Dylan could basically have a wet fart for 45 minutes and it becomes an 'instant classic' with '5 stars' in Rolling Stone.
I mean...I get it. Jann Wenner likes Bob. But jeez, have a little bit of integrity...

Los Angeles fostered a more insular scene around the Sunset Strip, starting in 1984-1985. This movement eventually spawned bands such as Poison, Faster *****cat, and London. Other bands were associated with that scene's style but actually came from outside of Hollywood such as Britny Fox who were from Philadelphia. In the mid 1980s Stryper brought Christian lyrics to their hard rock music style and glam metal looks.
