The Crazies sucked. Very boring and nothing interesting happened in the entire movie. It was watchable, but not what i expected.

Objectified is an awesome documentary (on instant netflix)...anyone here would love it if you're interested in engineering or design. Done very well. Although, whoever put the subtitles in white made a bad choice, i had a very hard time reading at points.

I'm watching Love Hate and Propaganda which was a 6 part series broadcast in Canada. Very interesting WWII doc that talks about the influence of power, lies and propaganda that influenced the path of the war. Some pretty eye opening stuff that was never taught in school.

Kick-Ass was pretty decent. just a fun action filled movie, nothing spectacular, but worth a watch.

See I thought Kick-Ass, based on the first 20 minutes or so had the potential to be another Fight Club, but alas they gave up shortly there after and just broke out the cookie-cutters.

Youth in Revolt wasn't that bad, I'd say C+ or B-.

Cop Out could have been very funny if Tracy Morgan would have just ad-libbed like he does in his interviews (youtube them, funniest sh*t ever) but instead it was Kevin Smith trying to update Beverly Hills Cop complete with Axel F-esque tunage. The whole story is predictable from the word go.

Watched the movie Frozen last night. It had potential but it failed in about every way.

It looks incredible. The director has quite the vision for his movies and this isn't any different. I'll definitely see it in theater if it makes it here.

Just finished the movie the Defendor. Interesting concept and executed pretty well. It sort of felt like kick ass with a much darker theme.

If anyone gets the chance rent Seraphim Falls. nice little movie set during the time just after the civil war, one man being tracked and hunter by a group of other men, both fast paced and with a slow build.

A Prophet. Fantastic film - great story, well acted...and engaging even though it's subtitled.

Been watching a lot of RANDOM movies lately but tonight was the remake of I Spit On Your Grave. I saw the original years ago and thought it was pretty brutal. I would have to say the remake is just as brutal in the beginning and A LOT more brutal in the end. Very graphic stuff. Not really recommended.

Saw Thankskilling earlier this week. One of the best campy movies I've seen in a while.

Black Swan - incredible performance by Natalie Portman, very typical Aronofsky film showing the darkest of the dark of humanity.

The Fighter - Outstanding. Great story...Amy Adams and Christian Bale were phenomenal.

It was great, an inspiration from Clockwork Orange I thought it will be something of the similar flow though it was totally different.

Finally got my new home theater set up, signed up with Netflix, etc.

    The Departed:
Piece of crap. Fell asleep half-way through. When is Hollywood going to admit to itself that Scorsese hasn't made a good film for 20 years?

    Social Network:
Enjoyable. Not particularly amazing as cinema. But, probably interesting to IT people.

    No Country for Old Men:
Old news, I know. But, worth a re-watch in blu-ray, imo. Ending is lame though.

There's an iPhone app I've seen which mashes up upcoming DVD releases from Flixster with your Netflix queue so you can add them directly from that page, but I can't remember what it is now. As far as upcoming for Instant Watch...Netflix has that info since they'll show you when something in your queue will be on Instant...so I don't know why they wouldn't offer it. You should ping them.

My only gripe with Netflix is that the streams aren't 1080p and don't include 5.1 audio.
