    TV shows

What shall I check out next? I just finished all 3 seasons of How I Met Your Mother a few days ago and now am on the lookout for a new show to watch. I think I am going to try Dexter as it seems up my alley but it is short with only 2 seasons out with only 12 episodes each.

I am on the lookout for a good comedy as well.

Flight of the Conchords is supposed to be hilarious, a lot of people i know love the show. I've watched a couple episodes and don't understand the humor though.

Yeah a couple people I know from college loved that show but I usually stay away from their humor- but sadly they were spot on with The Office and Arrested Development. But I really don't think I can get into the breaking into song every other minute...

ahhh I forgot about trailer park boys. I am WAAAY behind on that show. I think I have seen a few episodes of Weeds and that was pretty entertaining. I will NEVER watch LOST. I think I will check out the Sarah Connor Chronicles as I love the Terminator series(well 1&2).

And yes I go outside. This is a night time thing as everyone I know moved 2 hrs away so I only see them on weekends.

Flight of the Conchords IS hilarious, I strongly recommend it
(maybe it's not your type of humor, but you should watch a couple of episodes just to try it)

The Office and Arrested Development are great as well

Is it me or once you watch a show you really don't want to watch old episodes again? I watched scrubs all the way through and now when it is on Comedy Central I will not watch it. I don't watch much actual tv in the summer but I avoid CC since it plays Scrubs all the time.

I must have watched all 7 series of Trailer Park Boys at least five times over. I love it.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, here's a little compilation of Rickyisms...

I can't watch sitcoms over and over again.

However, I can watch any episode of the Sopranos, Carnivale, Big Love, House or others many times over and enjoy it like it was the first time.

Agreed on most of the ones posted here, buthonestly don't get Conchords. It almost seems juvenile to me. Perhaps it's just ME that's too juvenile to get THEIR highbrow humor, but who knows. Either way, consider me a thumbs down on that one.

Completely agreed on most of the other HBO/Showtime offerings though.

If you want somthing dramatic, then the latest season of House was brilliant. Lost is getting old, even for someone addicted to it like me. I've just finished watching the latest seasons of Scrubs (not as good as the previous seasons) and Heroes (sylar is getting old) but i'd still recommend those. (Maybe you'll like my TV tastes better than my movie ones )
