is it possible you are talking about damon waynes because if so the movie is called bullet proof.
Adam sandlers character shoots him in the head by mistake. Damon was undercover trying to bust a drug lord.

hmm..... was Damon Waynes 'dabbing' is eye with a cloth? (its actually something that a fellow worker brought up).. and I vaguely remember the 'scene'... so im trying to find out the movie..
Im pretty sure it was SLJ.. (but I could be wrong)...
wasnt changing lanes or bullet proof.. SLJ (or whom ever) dabs his runny/leaking eye with a cloth or something... and the main character was like.. I didnt do that.. was accident. SLJ punches him in the stomache (after hand cuffing)..
damn this is driving me NUTS! lol
I thought SLJ was a cop/deective.. but couldnt find anything that rang a bell on google..
back on topic: (TV shows)
the first two ep. of the SHIELD have been off the hook... and next weeks looks to be even better.. drama for you momma.. LOL

Sorry if this has already been mentioned. I searched and didn't find it.
But, what do you guys think of True Blood on HBO? I liked the first episode. But, it could go either bad or good from there.
I'm a season late catching on to it. But, anyone else watching Mad Men?

I really hated true blood. I smell a huge racial comparison of vampires to black people. Probably due the ample red neck backdrop. fangbanger? really?

I definitely get an association to minority groups. But, not just racial. More like any group that has been disenfranchised.
The redneck backdrop was pretty inclusive racially, I thought.

Yeah I didn't mean racial as a negative term, just kinda has an ignorance about it.

Hmmm. I don't get that. In fact, I think there's a sophistication about the styling of it. It's not a setting where you're supposed to associate yourself with a protagonist or culture. It's Pulp Fiction (not the movie but the genre). It's a form of satire that uses exaggeration and cliche as literary devices.
Similar to the way that Twin Peaks used small town life.

is True Blood where they 'come out' to the public? with he invention of artificial blood available now? (meaning they are safe for humans to know they exist..etc)

wow, surprised no one mentioned entourage just started.
Pretty good start to the season, but as i had always feared, they seem to have tipped more into the 'catch phrase' humor which wasn't as prevalent from past seasons.
Usually their seasons start slow and get better, so hopefully they get tired of writing too much Johnny Drama into it.

I almost mentioned Entourage. But, I figured that everyone knew about it.
It's also on the DVR list.

i thought the same thing about John From Cincinnati, and that turned out to be HORRIBLE after the 2nd or 3rd episode.
Just finished watching True Blood, and i have to say the potential is definitley there. I really wish Tarentino or Rodriguez would step in and guest direct sometime....seems like the perfect character/setting/plot/dialog backdrop for him. Kinda reminded me of the Death Proof series mixed with from Dusk 'til Dawn.
I'll definitely watch episode 2 and hope for the best.
and i really didn't see the racial issues jQUAN spoke about
