Oh man. John From Cincinnati was the worst pile of crap I ever saw. It's the only show that has ever actually made me angry for taking up my time.
I could see one of those directors fitting a story in the True Blood world. It definitely has a Dusk 'til Dawn feel.

i just stumbled on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I laughed my ass off for the 2 episodes i watched. What a messed up dry & twisted sense of humor that show has...
however, my wife watched 10 minutes of it and made me turn it off. She absolutely hated it.

so let me get this straight.
he injected this guy with something 20 years ago.
then realized later oh hey i know why hes getting visions 20 years ago i injected him, after doing research on this very topic. and now i need to rewire his brain... but ill need a tool.. that i made 18 years ago. and ill need to modify it... but i dont have it because i hid it in a wall in a house i used to live in.
turn that cheese factor to 11.

That show is hilarious!
I just finished the first season of Dexter again with all my flat mates watching it for the first time through. We'll probably start season 2 tonight. I hope 3 lives up to the first 2.
Weeds season 4 was pretty wild. It ended just how I figured it would.

You're missing 3 hours of setup. There's quite a bit of explanation about the old mans mental state. There's a blurry circle drawn around the main antagonists with an acceptable amount of mystery for a 3 episode old show.

Thankfully the new season has begun.
Was getting sick of watching the same preview commercials.

unless that 3 hours of setup explains why the female lead acts as if she constantly overloaded on a.d.d meds then i dont think its going to help much.

The Office just started a new season. Great start.

I admit, her expressions were quite annoying this last episode. She looked incontinent.
Office was hilarious. Easily the best comedy on TV. I'm hoping they show a lot of Pam's schooling since I never got to see what design school was like. Hth did she become hall monitor or whatever?

I don't know. I missed that too. She was the RA apparently at a dorm. But, it seems like that would have been set up somehow.
I have a feeling that we will see a lot of her schooling too since they cast that guy to be her friend. He has had success on Mad Men, so I would think would have been hired for a significant role on the show.

Her friendship seemed a bit forced writing. First she has get off the phone because "I made friends". Next scene, Jim proposes. As if to suggest Jim felt threatened by her having acquaintances.

Yeah. That whole sequence was a little weird. But, my expectations for continuity are lower since it's a comedy.
My guess is that they plan on milking the threatening friendship thing while they are engaged, probably ending the season with them calling off the engagement or something.

Just watched the new Chris Rock special. Not his best work but had some killer Obama/McCain and race jokes.

So i'm 75% of the way hooked into True Blood. Great dynamics in character development and there's enough in each main character to keep the show sustainable.
There's just enough sex, drama, humor, and suspense in each episode to keep watching as well.
As long as they don't take some crazy turn into some un followable plot line, i'll definitely keep watching.
