I FK'ing hate! True Blood. Been forced to sit through them all. It's absolutely nothing but sex. It's like a 15 year old who just found out you could search google for porn wrote it targeted directly at closet emo kids. Pure trash. I reluctantly admit the last episode formed a semblance of a plot once it stopped being about sex for 5 minutes. Then to end the episode? You guessed it, dude frying balls screwing a drunk in the alley.

Hah. Did you just recently start watching HBO series? Every series that I can remember has featured sex scenes. Even John Adams, probably the most tame of their line-up, had to feature old man Adams getting frisky in the manor.
That said, I'd say that I'm the same as LeftEye on that one. It's lost lustre in moments. But, I'm still watching.

As a matter of fact I did just start watching HBO content. Entourage and Soprano's aren't the least bit similar.

i should sure as hell hope not. Flashlackey was specifically talking about how much sex is in every HBO series. In fact, Entourage has the least amount of any i've seen. If you're not into the type of sex, drugs and lewdness that True Blood has, i suggest you don't watch Deadwood either.
Just rented the first season of Dexter today. Going to soak that up tonight.
I also caught an episode of Breaking Bad the other night....wow. That's one i'm going to have to get into some more as well.

Yeah. Sopranos and Entourage both routinely make the "Strong Sexual Content" rating. So did Oz, Deadwood, Rome, Big Love and others. Almost all of their comedy specials get that rating.
But, anyway, I was disappointed with this weeks episode of True Blood. They just bit off more than the show could chew by having her grandma die. Contemplation about losing loved ones, crying while eating pecan pies, etc. just didn't fit well in the non-serious setting the show had already established. Sookie running through the woods to Bill's house in that stupid outfit was really dumb as well, imo.
I thought Entourage was lame this week too. But, two thumbs up for Mad Men.

.02 cents..
the last TWO weeks of Entourage have been a let down for me.. seems like filler episodes and nothing more..

Dexter isn't as interesting as S1&2 but I still have hopes for it.
I am thinking about starting Breaking Bad. Anyone keeping up on that?

yeah, whispers. Great show for the little i've seen of it. It looks as though they restarted showing season 1 last month.

Dexter is going in a weird direction. I am not too sure about this season.
I have just been rewatching classic South Park and catching up on missed episodes(way too many to count) I can't believe they are already on season 12.

They're closely following the book... which got very mf'n weird.
I'm personally loving a show on the Discovery Channel... Time Warp. They show stuff in slow motion. Insane stuff.

just finished the 1st season and started the 2nd of Friday Night Lights (on streaming netflix)....my expectations for the show were VERY low...but honestly...one of the best shows i've seen in a few years. If football isn't you deal, it's OK...it's really only about 5% of the entire show, the rest is actually really good drama.

Burn notice was a good show. Maybe I'll try and watch all the episodes I missed so I am caught up.
Any comedies? still in the mood from It's Sunny...
