[CS3] Problem with a movie clip button

Hello everybody. Im making a webpage for a university work. A was told about this page and it is really a bible of flash. But I have a problem that i can't find the solution yet.

I want to make a button that moves up when you rollover on it , and moves down when you rollout. I think it sound simple... but a couldn't make it by myself. So i search here to find something usefull and i found this:

I used it (changing the movieclip, of course).
The big problem is that it doesn't work like a button, i mean that i want to link it, but i can't. I suppose because its a movie clip... But what should i do?

Any suggestion or solution?
