The Spanish midfield dominated the game yday.
Cesc Fabregas continued his good form from Arsenal to deliver the pinpoint passes.
Will the Spanish armada roll over the Germans in the finale ?

It's such a shame that it whoever wins, its not like winning really, because of course England were not taking part!

England think they are so much better than they actually are...

Spain win it so weldone to them. Considering Northern Ireland beat them 3-2 in the qualifiers I think we would've won it had we gone through... yeah right

No we don't - we know we're rubbish and didn't deserve to be there.

I think it's been a better tournament without England - when we can put a decent side together, then we deserve to go in.
I'm really pleased Spain won - they played the best football - techinically the best and visually the best - much better than watching Italy killing every game they play in - awful football.
It was a great championship - England should learn from it.

Congrats to the Spanish Armada. They were'nt really tested until Germany decide to play 2 upfront.
I'm still unsure why Russia held back against them (maybe fear?) but the Spanish were good.
Again, congrats to Spain. They had that little bit more quality in every department.
As for World Cup 2010, I think the South Americans will give them a run for their money. ; )

Fernando Torres "El Nino" finally came with a stunning strike to stun the Germans in the finals.
Just shows that you dont have to be overly physical like the Germans to win - but you should have to perfect the skill and art of good passing football like the Spaniards.
Viva Espana !!!

Spain's Euro 2008 hero Fernando Torres believes that joining Liverpool has turned him into a European champion.
The Spain striker, who scored the goal against Germany in Vienna which decided the Euro 2008 final, has paid tribute to Liverpool and the club's fans for their part in his success story.
"I have had a wonderful first season at Anfield and the 33 goals I scored for Liverpool gave me the confidence and belief I needed for the European finals," he told the Liverpool Echo.
