This is going to be like the treadmill/bike thing that most people seem to own. They buy it because it seems like a good idea and it'll keep them fit. Then it just sits around in the house for a while, then gets moved to the garage, and then you find it again when you move house.

The difference between Wii Fit and more specifically the Balance Board and a treadmill or other exercise equipment is that new software (games) will be introduced for years. There are already two (SKATE/We Ski) and plenty more to come.

It's also good to note that I played at a very intense level, the balance board games and some of the cardio games are really fun, just as games. So even if you don't feel the need to "get fit", the game with the board is really fun and innovative game play
