Anyone Jabber?

Just wondered if anybody knows anything about Jabber? (jabberd)not so much the server side but the client side of things.

I just need a IM client made up that has a small advert or alert window at the bottom for banner ads that I can change on a regular bases, say linked from a .html page on the same domain as the server client.

I use Spark, because we have implemented Jabber in our corporate environment. It's pretty cool I guess...but I dont know about a client that allows you to modify ads or alerts. Sorry.
