    [show] New Game : PigDog!

Hey guys, check out this one I finished a while ago now, but its finally live.

Uses box2D 1.4.3 for the collisions and physics

The sound engine i was quite proud of dynamically fading sounds depending on camera position etc.

    heres the link : http://www.fingertime.com/pigdog

found a weird bug. i got killed by the shotgun in the tree, when i re-spawned the gun was up behind the status bar, and when the camera zoomed in an out, the gun would zoom in and out, too. it didn't obstruct anything, but it was noticeable.

also, when i died the gun just kept shooting me over and over again. i thought it was pretty funny.

excuse my ignorance, but when you said you used box2D for collision detection... how did you integrate that with flash as I assume your game is in Flash?

lovely use of Box2d...really good to see it used in a game which isn't overlty physics based...very interesting.

    Some lovely character design too,

I definitely played this game and ended up playing it for a while when you first posted, I guess in some respects a good game showing on flashkit leads me to forget to post feedback! Anyways, lovely idea and I love the level progression. I think you did a great job balancing the risk/reward for trying to carry all the pigs at once. The only thing I remember experiencing that I found slightly awkward was there were some instances where the dog would flip upside down and you could only correct it by landing and taking back off.

Anyways, summary, great game well polished, forgot to give feedback because I got into the game too much!

I don't think anyone would appreciate feedback like that, I'm sure if you were making a game and had spent a long time working on it you would not appreciate you're own comments. If you have something negative to say please explain why you feel that way, it's called constructive criticism. Forums are communities, this community in particular is based on helping others, giving them feedback, helping them cultivate and refine their skills, games, ideas, et cetera. "That's really lame, no offence" is just rude and worthless comment. To give you constructive feedback besides explaining why your post isn't useful; offence is actually spelled offense.

Man that game was awesome! I really liked it The graphics were simple but well polished. You got a very good final product. It would be cool that you can carry more than one pig :P Good work!

    I like it a lot.

I always say this - but this game would work really well with mouse control.
