    Clouds and Birds

Traveling this week and here are some various shots.

    1
Each year these birds return to the same nests and give birth. They are about 20 feet up, made of mud and assorted "stuff" and have just enough room for the parents to land on the edge to bring food to the babies.

    2
The babies can be seen in this one.

    3- Pano
We are in our Monsoon season which means rain, higher humidity and some really cool clouds.

    4 - Pano
This one is a bit warped, but I was having fun with it.

We have swallows over here too...in Winter they are flying down south to Africa, a 2500 miles trip!
1 looks like an extreme crop
Great panos and I especially like the warped one...in the b/w I like the structure of the clouds.

Thanks frex. It is amazing how animals know where to go over that much of a distance to find the exact nest that they made the previous year.

The b/w shot is one part of the first pano.
Appreciate your input, thanks for taking time to comment.

I am really digging all the shots but it just seems you have a lot of blown out highlights. If you shoot raw you can get some of that back in the PS raw conversion box with the slider called "recovery". It has saved me a few times.

Thank you all for the input!
WB, yes I do shoot RAW and have used the Recovery slider. I'll take another look and see where the histogram shows blown out regions.
