CS3: Import video as key-frames

Hi,
Don't ask why I might want to do this, but...

In an earlier incarnation of Flash, I was able to import a video as a series of bitmaps. Admittedly, this is not something of great relevance to the majority of video applications, but there are times when it might be useful.

Does anybody know if there is an equivalent function for Flash CS3?

this might help you, but it only works with short clip.... when you import a video into flash, choose "embed video in SWF and play in timeline" this will add your video to your time line and from there you can create keyframes and manipulate your video (remember only short clips if not it would create sync issues)
