I vote for Squize but frankly I don't know if he has time for this.

Moderation is a hard job and requires to come to FK board every day to read posts and be in touch with everything which is going on here.

So, finally my suggestion is to find someone who have more time for this and the ideal candidate IMHO would be renderhjs I see his replies almost in every post during last year.

He'd probably do a good job if we need a new mod for games.
I was a mod at a really active board and it wasn't that much fun unless you get off on deleting stupid threads and plowing through millions of reports from the users.
Flashkit seems to be pretty well off so maybe here it'd be more relaxed.

if squize likes the position he gets my vote as well,- but I dont want to force him - because I know he is busy like many others of us as well.

Agreed, no pressure obviously. We all have that 'deadline scythe' swinging towards our neck.

I'm very flattered by the posts here guys, but as it's not open to debate yet perhaps we should wait until the need arises ( If it does at all ) before going down the "who should be the next mod" path.

    Squize.

Does a mod really need to be helpful though? All they gotta do is click "LOCK" and "BAN" all day. :-D

(I must decline from being included in any such consideration though as it would totally make me homeless by taking my time away from productive work).

I don't really mind who is elected as the next fkg mod, but IMHO I do think it's time we had someone help tonypa out.

I reckon Squize or render would be good choices. Malee and Ray also deserve consideration, but I can't say I've followed as much of their work as I have of the former two.

Wow this topic came out of know where. Which mod died? If we had to select a new mod down the track. Definitely the squizmeister, and If god forbid something happens to him, I select my man man mr_malee to boss us around.

Imagine the god complex squize would get if he was mod of the games forum. It would become a communist games forum. You don't play games, GAMES PLAY YOU!

How's 'bout that Bush guy? He's done moderation before, and he seems to be between jobs soon?! Of course Squize is second on the list - though as stated before, I think the forum is running pretty smoothly
