Do I need Flash? Site check

I was just checking to see if their is a place where I could put some flash on my site or do I even need flash.

You could make a slideshow header at the top and animate the buttons on the left and, if you use IFRAME's, you could add some music. These would be quality improvements to your site, but are not exactly urgent.

Depends on your audience and what you want to do. Before adding Flash tighten up your design. Bring the whole site up and justify to the top. Make the navigation less tall... there is too much space around the text. Also the left nav (events, forums, etc.) is hard to read and looks like it's floating. If you want Flash add it on the top navigation or as mentioned above in a slide show or the top banner.

I looked at your site and I dont think you need Flash. people who will visit your site just need fast and plain information. No Flash needed, or you need to make some fancy banners, movies, etc then Flash would be an option.

I was thnking of maybe putting a flash video where the main kid is on the front explaining the site. I just want to make sure people know what this site is about. Maybe a real video like whats on www.slingbox.com or an anamated one. Or will the load time be to much and just a waste of time? Thanks for all your help guys.

That should work well if you compress and do it right. If you don't know where to start, I would recommend you check out some tutorials on the subject.

Looks fine without flash, but the red menu should be blue.

I'd avoid flash on this site unless it's a video that is essential like you mentioned
