    Quality Journalism

Amy Chozick does research for a Wall Street Journal article on whether Obama is too fit to be president on Yahoo discussion boards... Seriously, this passes as journalism nowadays?

    Some higher quality reporting

Hahaha, what did you expect when FOX "news" bought them out?
    FOX despises actual journalism.
No it's just another mouthpeice for Bush & the Republicons.

My allegiance to this country is rapidly decreasing.

Ah, that explains a lot. I should've noticed the stench of Murdoch...

I think you mischaracterized what the article says. They aren't asking "whether Obama is too fit" but rather just whether or not that will be a factor.

Seems like a lot of companies despise "actual journalism" given how few outlets have any questions whatsoever for Edwards on why he was 2500 miles from his home at 2am in Rielle Hunter's hotel room.

In any event, the automatic spasms erupting over any semblence of doubt regarding Obama certainly add to the humor of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Id1IKJGVkvg

If I had any shred of respect for McCain left, that video just killed it.
McCain is really scraping the bottom of the barrel now.
How much worse can he get by election time?

    lol. Case in point.

Seriously, a light will shine down from somewhere and you will have an epiphany to vote for Barack? We are the ones we've been waiting for?

The guy says some ridiculous things. It's ok to laugh about it, even if you support his policies.

How could the article be mischaracterized as anything but slack-jawed journalism? I don't care how you talk about a candidates health, it has nothing to do with the issues. (which I've yet to hear anyone talk about)

There's no way McCain paid for that. I could just as easily slip that copy in at the end of my windows video maker project too.

And btw, shame on Barrack for giving us hope. </sarcasm>

People vote for all kinds of stupid reasons. It's possible that his fitness could be some factor. One of Bill Clinton's advisors seemed to agree. If it has any affect on the vote, I think it's a valid question during election coverage.

I'd link to the Jon Stewart clip on McCain's Heath vs Obama's Heath but you know viacom.

I really wish it weren't true, but it looks like McCain is determined to run the slimiest campaign we've ever seen.

omg it is true. Man I really tried to hold on to respect for the guy after his military service, but that just killed it for me. That really sucks, guess I just can't make surviving years of captivity, reporting the social security numbers scrawled on his cell walls to the families of those who didn't survive captivity, and rescuing a man from a carrier accident equal a man who should run this country. He shoulda learned from Michael Jordan's mistake and went out on a high note after the 2000 election.

I'm not fully in Obama's camp but I sure as hell don't think McCain will set a damn good thing in motion. At least an Obama presidency would come with a moral boost. The depression over my country is really getting to me.

What's united about these states anymore?

Funny. I just said the same thing about Mr. Arizona today myself.

Agreed. People are getting a little too close to fundamentalism if they can't see that this election is the battle between a wannabe Moses and Curly.

Yeah I'm actually getting a little tired of Obama's Carpe diem rhetoric. At least it's uplifting compared to McCain's fear mongering.
