    Animating opacity

    How can i go about animating the alpha opacity during an animation?

    Use a motion tween and a Movie Clip/Graphic. Then just change the alpha on the last frame of the tween, and Flash will do the rest.

    You could also use the flash 8 tweening class and tween the _alpha value. This also allows for more control than ease in/out
