    mirror writing

Hi, I have found that Flash mx2004 does not display output when textboxes are vertical or tipped upside down or indeed flipped horizontally.
I am looking to create a mirrored reflection of some dynamically outputted text.

Any ideas if this is possible?
    thx

also how do i create a typed out effect? I would like a different text box to 'type' text like a typewriter. This is a different textbox to the one above.. but you know.. both together would be cool... but asking for the sky methinks..)
    thx

For the first part, you need to embedd your font. Then you can rotate or flip your text box.

    thats good news thank you.
How do i embedd? I have looked at the property manager and nothing there. I have looked at the behaviours manager and it only has an embedd option for video.

    thx

ok. so I have been exploring and come up with this.
    NO MC required...
I selected my dynamic text box..
I found the 'character 'button in properties...
Lo and behold the embed fonts option is hiding there..
I clicked specified ranges selecting both the upper and lower case options..

ok'ed it and then flipped the textbox and put it upside down..
    YES!!

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
