white box of doom

on occasion, though it's become a significant occasion, some of my embedded flash movies won't load. they just stall at a white box.

i'm developing an online flash social game that has mini games that load in pop up windows. so far nobody seems to have problems loading the main game, however there has been reports of the pop ups just loading a white box.

i've not been able to recreate this locally, but i have seen it on another site a few years back. (illwillpress.com) where their animations would stall on the white box and just hang on Transferring... or waiting...


does anybody have any idea on what could cause this to happen?

server load? I might contact your hosts if your sure everything else is correct. It might just be that more people are trying to access your stuff than the servers are capable of handling at peak times.
