Help with Polystar

Hello to all

I am trying to make a star shape but when i click polystar and change the option to star and try to draw it still wont draw the star shape. I tried many many times still i could not star the star shape instead it draws polygon shape. I re-checked the options still wont draw. What did or What am i doing wrong?

hmm not sure what's going on for you. I didn't even know there was a star tool lol, but i followed your directions and voila! star on my stage. hmm... to confirm

click polystar tool
click options on the properties bar
select star from dropdown
set number of sides to 5
set star point size to .50
click and drag on stage.
star?
