    [F8] Special Effects - Motion

    I have a vector graphic of a flag on a pole. I want the flag to move as though the wind was blowing. Does anyone know if this can be done with a special FX in Flash?

    Or if you have any other suggestions on another way to accomplish this, without spending thousands on software, I'd sincerely appreciate it. The flag is below... many thanks.

    I'm not sure exactly what you mean by special FX...if you're asking if you can animate the flag in Flash, then yes. There are a couple of ways you could try to do it. One way would be to just shape tween the flag. Shape tweens can sometimes go kind of wonky, so be sure to add shape hints to keep things under control.

    The other option would be to use a DisplacementMap filter to animate it.
