fade frame intances
is it possible to fade one frame instance into another using action script. i am building a web site in flash and i want to make the text fade in and out as as the user selects each different page.
i will try to find it out for myself with the help of google. if i find the answer i will post it up incase anyone else would like to use this technique if possible.

from what i have found out up to now it is animated page transitions i am looking for.

ok so i have now set my page up so there is a tween for the text to fade in and a some action script to stop the play head once the text has fully faded in. how can i get the play head to play the text fading out and then go to the page the button is linked to.
if i am not being clear enough please let me know.

i want the play head to play the next ten frames then gotoAndPlay the page which is being called from the button press.
is this possible in flash 8
