Little sound delay problem
I just made my first attempt with sound effects for a game, using actionscript to trigger it with sound.start() and everything works just fine when the sounds are distanced one from the other.
The problem is I have a machine gun in the game, so I put the code for it to play the sound every time it shoots (once every 3 frames, 30FPS) and what happens is this...
The first sound occurs on time, followed by silence, then from shot 3-4 and on the sounds are on time with the shots.
it like Bang * silence * Bang Bang Bang... lol
It sounds really bad and I was wondering how people put sound for their machine gun in their games.
